IMMEDIATE NEW job opening for an UI/API Automation Software Test Engineer to join our team and work remotely for our global client.  Primarily seeking candidates with strong expertise in Web UI, API & Mobile Automation testing.
Must be eligible to work on W2. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and develop automated test framework/scripts for UI using java Selenium and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG and familiar with Page object model.
  • Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo and Git Hub manage source code using Stash (Bitbucket).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and test coverage needs.
  • Participate in test planning, test case design, defect reporting, and root cause analysis using JIRA.
  • Contribute to Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks when needed.
  • Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work.
  • Document, communicate, and escalate test results and defects.
  • Identify and document bugs clearly and concisely; validate bug fixes.
  • As needed, coordinate activities between the US and remote testing teams.
  • Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using an automation tool.
  • Apply critical thinking to translate sophisticated application flows to test cases.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of experience in Automation using Selenium Java, Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, and relevant Web UI and mobile automation tools.
  • Experience using swagger documentation for API validations, REST API Testing and Automation
  • Strong Knowledge and ability to code in various programming languages (preferably in Java), JavaScript, SQL, etc. to automate tests for the full solution stack (UI, App Layer, REST API, Web Service)
  • Familiarity with Docker source code using Stash (Bitbucket).
  • Experience in Could Testing and mobile automation testing (iOS and Android devices).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Strong database (MySQL and Postgres) experience – highly preferred. 
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven, with strong problem-solving skills with analytical capabilities to be able to support theories/solutions using underlying data.
  • Knowledge of Cloud-based Web Applications Architecture.
  • Knowledge of deployment technologies with emphasis on AWS Cloud.
  • Experience using the Selenium Grid for parallel execution of Test Cases in Multiple Browsers.
  • Proven experience within test automation development, using frameworks and tools like Junit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, Postman as well as REST/JSON APIs.
  • Knowledge of Extent Reports 2.0, Eclipse IDE, IntiliJ and Java for developing the Automation Scripts.
  • Experience in developing Feature Files using Gherkins language for the BDD.
  • Detailed understanding of concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Front End UI experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience on Kafka topics and consumer validations.
