L2 IT Support Engineer

EXCITING NEW JOB OPENING for a L2 IT Support Engineer to join our team and work
on-site at our clients’ global HQs based in Las Colinas, Texas.  This is an IT support
engineer who will support IT Field Servers with both desktop and some service desk
support.  This role will also be responsible for light system administration, primarily with
Windows Servers.  Additionally, this individual will be well-versed in VMware support.

Required Skills: 
  • 4+ years of experience in various IT engineering and operations disciplines including LAN administration, server administration, backup systems, monitoring and alerting systems, and desktop support
  • 2+ years windows server administration
  • 2+ years VMware administgration
  • Established experience and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Confidence interacting with a wide range of people from clerical staff, operations, developers, senior management, and vendors
  • deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Competence in operating a personal computer and external computer peripherals
  • Proficiency to read, write and communicate orally the English language, especially I.T. technical terms and concepts
  • Physical qualifications required to perform the job function: ability to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs, sit for long periods of time
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management governance, techniques, and methods.
  • Ability to travel to locations around the United States on occasion for acquisition projects
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
