IMMEDIATE new job opening for an SCCM Engineer to join our team and work remotely for one of our global clients that is a leader in their industry.  This role will be responsible for troubleshooting and assisting in driving down KPI vulnerabilities in both Corporate and external environments related to SCCM Client health.  As a SCCM/MECM Engineer, you will design, support, and handle our MCEM (Microsoft Configuration Endpoint Manager) infrastructure which patches and maintains 100,000+ servers and workstations. You will work directly with Microsoft and 3rd Party vendors to keep the infrastructure updated and in a healthy state.

Responsibilities:
  • SCCM Client health along with 1E client health.
  • OS Health issues.
  • Assist with OS EOL.
  • Windows 10/11 build updates.
  • MS and Office patching and 3rd party patching.
  • Configuration Baselines.
  • Use Microsoft products for endpoint security to include Monthly Microsoft Patching, endpoint management, Active Directory, and Application packaging.
  • Operating Systems Deployment Management to include creating OSD covering drivers, applications, and the latest OS for deployment.
  • Analyze data critical to capacity forecasting, asset management and procurement.
  • Assist IT managers and IT senior management with planning and reporting.
  • Ensure that the technical environment is properly maintained and correctly designed.
  • Identify performance issues and lead the development and correct use of tools to resolve these problems.
  • Lead the design of the computing infrastructure, working closely with architects on project design and technical direction.
  • Guide multi-functional and intra-departmental efforts, working with consultants and architects.
  • Build and sustain effective communications with all partners.

Required Skills:
  • 7-10+ years of SCCM / MECM Administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Patching to include O365, Office 2016/2019/2021
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 build Upgrades and OS upgrades
  • PowerShell Scripting Experience
  • Experience with a customer base of over 100K
  • 1E Noman – plus
  • Azure Intune experience – plus
  • 2+ years of Active Directory / Server administration experience – plus
  • Experience with OSD and Task Sequences – plus
  • Experience with Microsoft architecture – plus
