IMMEDIAE NEW JOB OPENING for a SQL Data Analyst to join our team and work remotely for our global client.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about data, has a strong understanding of finance and accounting, and is proficient in data analytics & visualization, and data governance.

Responsibilities:
•    Analyze and interpret complex financial and accounting data to provide actionable insights.
•    Perform deep dives into data sets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
•    Create and manage dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.
•    Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
•    Implement and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance.
•    Conduct and automate regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
•    Utilize advanced analytics technologies to enhance data insights.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
•    Ensure data quality and consistency across various systems and platforms.

Required Skills: 
•    3-5+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
•    Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
•    Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau and/or Alteryx.
•    Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
•    Experience with data governance and data quality management.
•    Experience working with very large data sizes. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Experience with IPE or SOX controls – plus
•    Knowledge of Data Governance Model – plus 
•    Familiarity with Process Mining Tools – plus 
•    Familiarity with advanced analytics and AI technologies – plus 
•    Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) – plus
