IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Mobile Native App Test Engineer to join our team and work remotely with our global client.  We are looking for someone who has strong hands-on experience testing and debugging iOS and Android native apps.  We need someone who has hands-on working experience with iOS and Android testing and can adhere to quality processes.  In this role, you will work closely with other teams to help discover and eliminate problems by finding defects and deficiencies in code.

Responsibilities:
  • Write and execute manual test scripts for Mobile Applications Quality Engineering team.
  • Test using Charles Proxy, APIs, or Postman.
  • Collaborate with developers in testing feature code.
  • Provide feedback and create defects on delivered code.
  • Participate in functional and product mobile application testing.
  • Ensure that reporting requirements and other quality procedures and processes are met.
  • Responsible for testing features such as, connected rooms, digital keys, accessibility, and other testing-related tasks for Mobile Apps.
  • Testing using xCode and Android Studio.
  • Integration and functional business flows validation of Mobile App and its features.
  • Ensure features are developed according to the requirements communicated by the stakeholders.
  • Test with real test devices (i.e. iPhone, Android phone, tablets, watches, etc.).
  • Test iOS and Android devices in a native mobile application architecture.
  • Use xCode and Android Studio to build and configure the mobile application.
  • Display knowledge of the development PR and branch merging process.
  • Display knowledge of mobile application quality assurance processes.
  • Test digital payments/wallets.
  • Create defect/bug tickets and reports based on test findings.
  • Work within cross-functional teams.
  • Write detailed test cases.
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and report quality problems and end user issues.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Native Mobile App testing.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering
  • Working knowledge of XCode for iOS and/or Android Studio for Android
  • Working knowledge of Charles Proxy or equivalent tool
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Xray
  • Excellent and effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge and capability to work in fast paced environment supported by the agile methodology
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree – plus.
