IMMEDIATE NEW JOB OPENING for a strong Salesforce Developer to join our team and work remotely for our global client.  We are seeking someone that has detailed experience working with complex Apex like asynchronous features.  Must have Salesforce Platform Developer 2 and Platform App Builder certifications.

This role will assist in leading the development team for the Project Team, designing solutions, performing technical grooming, and managing team capacity with the Solution Architect and Product Owner. Partnering closely with the Delivery Manager to prioritize requests, maintain process / tech documentation, manage team capacity, and perform code/configuration review.

Additionally will analyze, program, and deploy Salesforce.com software packages or code. Utilize Apex, Lightning Web Components or any supported language to modify or expand functionality within Salesforce. Conducts tasks and assignments as directed. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

Will Assist in implementation of the new application, working with project team to collaboratively deliver solutions in the custom-built Salesforce application that supports the Openings team manage hotel openings projects. Candidate will work closely with managed packages, custom code (Apex code and LWC), and complex flows. Candidate will work a variety of requests including support request, ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and application development project work.

Responsibilities


 
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, and Product Owner on managing technical team roles, responsibilities/schedules (onboarding, PTO, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Delivery Manager on Demand Intake / Project Plan and technical team capacity
  • Document current and future state w. defined requirements and business workflows (files example docs, data needs, etc.).
  • Prioritize / validate user stories and acceptance criteria owns handoff of technical tickets/tasks + technical testing.
  • Lead Product Demos documenting sprint notes, action steps and backlog work (for future work or maintenance needs)
  • Meet with technical team members regularly to manage their performance, sync on assignment status, clear blockers, and document needs to raise to Solution Architect.
  • Lead Team Standups to gather daily progress updates and collaborate on solutions.
  • Assist other developers and admins in their technical tasks and resolve blockers.
     
Required Skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 6-8 years of experience in Salesforce Development
  • 1-3 years of in Management or Leading Technical Salesforce teams
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 2
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • Experience building custom solutions utilizing Apex, LWC, and SOQL
  • Deep experience working with complex data structures, asynchronous Apex, HTTP Callouts, etc.
  • Experience working with complex flows
  • Experience implementing and customizing Managed Package solutions
  • Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation
  • The following certifications are preferred:  Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Architect Certifications
  • Experience working with the Inspire Planner, Taskray, or other similar project management apps
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management
  • Experience working with Salesforce Experience Cloud
