IMMEDIATE new job opening for a fulltime Jr. Front-End Web Application Developer focused in Angular to join our client’s team directly.  This is an opportunity to join a growing technology services firm, specializing in developing software applications and providing outsourced cloud IT services for private equity, hedge funds and financial services companies.

The Development team is responsible for ensuring client success by building scalable, cutting-edge enterprise solutions in a fast-paced environment.  As a Front-End Web Applications Developer you will work closely with Senior Developers and Product Managers to build and enhance applications and components in our client’s financial services product suite.  They are a Microsoft shop, and this role will focus on Angular development.  You will gain fluency in capital market concepts and insight into the operations of investment management firms.  They are a profitable startup and offer competitive compensation and benefits along with an opportunity to take ownership in a small team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test quality components, pages and applications using JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Follow development best practices and coding standards, including setting up and maintaining builds and designing re-usable framework components
  • Innovate our current processes and tools, both internally and externally as our client base expands
  • Improve your knowledge of the financial services industry, especially as it relates to specific development assignments
  • Some travel to local client offices may be required

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related major
  • Experience building large web-based software solutions
  • 2-4 years of front-end development experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • 2 years of Angular development
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
  • Experience with C# or Java is preferred
  • Experience with MS SQL Server or other SQL database is preferred
  • Experience with Node.JS, NPM, and Webpack a plus
  • Experience with Source Control and CI/CD is preferred
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks is a plus
  • Experience with Typescript a plus
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
