IT Delivery Lead Scrum Master
1+ Year Contract

We have an IMMEDIATE new job opening for an IT Delivery Lead Scrum Master to join our team and work remotely for our global client.  This IT Delivery Lead/Scrum Master will be the technology delivery leader responsible for planning, driving, supporting, and implementing strategic projects and initiatives. This position is embedded in the Software Engineering/Property Platforms team and works with the small scrum team and larger project team/delivery leads to drive various initiatives from ideation through delivery. The Delivery Lead/Scrum Master will also lead all ceremonies utilized by the pod including daily stand ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, refinement, and pre-refinement. This role will also provide updates to cross functional teams, projects, and senior leadership. You are also responsible for pulling together the necessary delivery plans, coordinating, supporting various delivery teams through execution, and delivery of initiatives (maintenance, projects, programs, etc.). Your deep understanding and experience in technology delivery surrounding waterfall, Hybrid, PMP, Agile fundamentals, Scrum Frameworks, Kanban change management approach will contribute to our success. Your role will be vital to ensure all blockers are identified and on track to remedy as well as coordinate any items required to deliver targeted releases on a scheduled basis.
You are responsible for running the delivery functions for the Taxes, Fees, and Surcharge pod, crafting, and maintaining the delivery roadmap in conjunction with Technology leadership, driving planning sessions across teams, identifying, and managing risks, and representing the TFS pod in project and delivery planning sessions.

  • Build and maintain delivery roadmaps and delivery schedules in partnership with Technology leads, architects, business partners, and development.
  • Manage all agile ceremonies and activities for two pod(s) and coordinating release plans
  • Extensive knowledge of Jira to provide reporting and dashboard reports to track progress
  • Establish program cadence to support various delivery teams with delivery of the capability.
  • Look across platforms, programs, and projects to identify dependencies, risks, and issues and then to mitigate and resolve.
  • Be accountable for risk/issue identification, mitigation, and communication, as well as building plans that can visualize the delivery for PMO, leadership, and executive audiences.
  • Establish positive relationships with peers in the organization and influence them through using knowledge of the technology capabilities and delivery capacity.
  • Build a deep understanding of the brands, current projects, and upcoming initiatives.

Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of professional experience in a technology/product environment.
  • 5+ years of product or service delivery/scrum master experience
  • 4 years’ experience working with delivery teams that use Waterfall, Agile, Kanban Change Management Approach, Scrum, and Hybrid approaches
  • 5 years being a (soft skill) team player or leader when working with teams
  • 5 years (soft skill) communicating with PMO, leadership, and cross functional teams
  • 5 years or more (soft skill) building and managing relationships with teams, PMO, and leading efforts with delivery teams
  • Display organization, dedication, and the ability to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment with minimal direction.
  • Exhibit a solid grasp of leading and delivering large enterprise initiatives.
  • Effectively balance multiple platforms, teams, assignments, and priorities
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • Ability to manage delivery and agile/scrum activities for at least two (2) small/medium pods
  • Experience in Agile project management tools such as JIRA & Confluence
  • Experience leading projects with an onshore/offshore team model
  • Experience overseeing large multi-functional project teams
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve team conflicts, remove roadblocks and communicate appropriately to ensure a team's success
  • Strong accountability, project planning/organization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspect and adapt the way the team works to continuously improve
  • Demonstrated experience managing large projects with multiple work streams in various stages of development
  • Knowledge of SDLC and demonstrated experience employing SDLC in aspects of the project management process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
