IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Business Analyst/Project Manager with specific hospitality experience in the guest reservations/bookings area to join our team and work remotely for our long-time global client.  The Sr Business Systems Analyst will focus on functional analysis, project activities, and other tasks to support key legacy Distribution Platforms applications. In addition, the Analyst will work with key stakeholders to develop functional design info, change management documents, etc. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope & objectives. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Rely on experience and judgment to perform the functions of the job. Day-to-day, you will analyze, document, and refine processes to support cross-functional collaboration. Your ability to understand and improve complex processes while maintaining clear, concise documentation is crucial. You may develop and maintain comprehensive process maps, timelines, and flowcharts to streamline and enhance operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be a team player who can work effectively with a wide variety of Team Members across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • In addition to developing delivery plans, the Business Analyst/Project Manager will work with key stakeholders to develop change management, create process/support documentation and communications materials that drive R&I and its transformation.
  • Be a team player who can work effectively with a wide variety of Team Members across the organization.
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation planning, release management, communication, and change management processes, delivering technology solutions following software development life cycle methodology.
  • Identify and communicate project risks, issues, concerns, and possible resolutions.
  • Learn about the reservation system and how it is used by various applications.
     
Required Skills
  • 5-7 years of Information Technology (IT) experience, specifically business analysis and project management.
  • 5-7 years of experience working with both functional and technical decision-makers, experience documenting business processes within enterprise-level companies.
  • Hospitality and reservations/guest services experience – highly preferred.
  • Experience and skills with Office 365 environment: MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Planner, Visio, Excel, SharePoint, Forms, Jira, Confluence, Agile.
  • Experience with flowcharts, mapping tables, diagrams, etc.
  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree.
  • PMP and/or CSM certifications – plus.
  • Dedicated, ambitious individual with good time management and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple and complex projects simultaneously in a quickly changing environment.
  • Self-starter who takes the initiative in implementing goals, utilizing analytical skills, and possessing adaptability to change.
  • Strong experience working with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements.
