Azure System Administrator
Fulltime
Arlington, TX

IMMEDIATE new job opening for a Microsoft Azure System Administrator to join our client’s IT team and work on-site at their headquarters based in Arlington, Texas.  In this role, you will be responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting internal teams across the organization.  The Azure System Administrator must have the hands-on ability to both maintain / upgrade existing systems and design / deploy new technologies while adhering to best practices and business level objectives. You must have the ability to work in a high pressure, demanding environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Microsoft Office365 administration.
  • Microsoft Active Directory administration.
  • Azure administration (VMs, Entra, SSO, etc.).
  • Windows Server 2022 maintenance (patching, backups, new build, updating, etc.).
  • Draft documentation for technical and non-technical staff.
  • Supports internal and external audits related to policy rules and change management processes for the organization.
  • Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver solutions on time. 
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to team members and management. 
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. 
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. 
  • Develop expertise in banking technologies, regulatory requirements, and IT frameworks. 

REQUIREMENTS
  • 10+ years of systems administration experience required.
  • 8+ years of experience managing virtual environments.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure or AWS (Azure preferred).
  • Azure certifications (AZ-900, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Office 365, AD and MS Entra.
  • Highly proficient with Windows Server 2022.
  • Highly proficient with virtualization platforms.
  • Highly proficient with PowerShell, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
  • Knowledgeable of IaC (Terraform) and GitHub.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • MCSE and/or similar certifications a plus.
